1. Introduction and Data Controller
Nuveta is a personal planning application operated by HinotoWay LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Nuveta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
HinotoWay LLC is the data controller responsible for personal information processed through the Nuveta mobile application, the nuveta.app website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect or process, how and why we use it, how information is stored and synchronized, when it may be shared, how long it is retained, and the rights and choices available to you.
This Policy applies to information processed when you create or use a Nuveta account, use the Nuveta application or website, synchronize your planner information, or contact us.
It does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that are governed by their own privacy policies.
2. Information We Process
The information processed through Nuveta depends on the features you use.
Account and authentication information
When you create an account or sign in, we may process:
- your email address;
- an internal Nuveta account or user identifier;
- authentication provider information;
- your display name and profile image where provided through a sign-in provider such as Google;
- provider-specific account identifiers; and
- other information necessary to maintain and secure your account.
Nuveta currently uses Google Firebase Authentication to provide account authentication.
If you create an account using an email address and password, your authentication credentials are processed by Firebase Authentication. Nuveta does not receive or store your password in plaintext.
If you sign in using Google, Nuveta and Firebase may receive account information made available by Google, such as your email address, name, profile image, and provider-specific account identifier.
Nuveta does not receive your Google password.
Planner information
Nuveta allows you to create and manage personal planning information, which may include:
- task titles and descriptions;

- categories, labels, or organizational information;
- task completion status and history;
- reminder settings;
- application and planner preferences;
- metadata related to tasks and planner records; and
- other information that you choose to enter into your planner.
Planner information is stored locally on your device in Nuveta’s local application database.
Nuveta also uses Google Cloud Firestore to provide cloud synchronization of planner information.
When you are signed in, Nuveta is designed to perform a full synchronization of your planner information approximately once every 24 hours.
The timing of synchronization may vary depending on application usage, device conditions, operating system restrictions, internet connectivity, availability of Firebase and Firestore services, and other technical circumstances.
If synchronization cannot be completed at the expected time, Nuveta may attempt synchronization later when the necessary technical conditions are available.
The synchronized information may include your Nuveta account or internal user identifier together with planner information such as:
- tasks;
- task titles and descriptions;
- dates and times;
- categories and labels;
- completion status and history;
- reminder settings;
- planner and application preferences; and
- related planner records and synchronization metadata.
The synchronized copy is stored using Google Cloud Firestore and is associated with your Nuveta account or internal user identifier.
Cloud synchronization is a current part of the Nuveta service and is used to maintain a cloud copy of planner information associated with your account.
Because planner content is created by you, it may contain personal information depending on what you choose to enter.
You should avoid entering information that you do not want stored locally on your device or synchronized to the cloud.
Synchronization information
To operate the synchronization system, Nuveta may process technical information related to synchronization, including:
- internal user identifiers;
- planner record identifiers;
- synchronization timestamps;
- creation and modification timestamps;
- deletion or status information;
- database or application version information; and
- other information necessary to synchronize planner records.
This information is used to maintain consistency between your local planner information and the synchronized copy stored in Firestore.
Notifications
If you enable reminders or notifications, Nuveta may request permission from your device operating system to send notifications.
Notifications and reminders may be scheduled or processed on your device.
Information relating to reminders may form part of your planner information and may therefore also be included in periodic cloud synchronization.
You can change notification permissions through your device settings.

5. Service Providers and Sharing
We use third-party service providers where necessary to operate Nuveta.
Google Firebase Authentication
Nuveta currently uses Google Firebase Authentication for user authentication and account management.
Google may process account and authentication information on our behalf in accordance with its applicable terms, data-processing terms, security practices, and privacy documentation.
Google Cloud Firestore
Nuveta currently uses Google Cloud Firestore for cloud synchronization and storage of planner information.
Nuveta is designed to synchronize planner information from the local Nuveta database to Firestore approximately once every 24 hours.
The exact timing may vary depending on application usage, device conditions, internet connectivity, service availability, operating system restrictions, and other technical circumstances.
Information stored in Firestore may include:
- your internal Nuveta user identifier;
- planner tasks and task content;
- task titles and descriptions;

Google Sign-In
If you choose Google Sign-In, Google processes your authentication request and may provide Nuveta with account information that you authorize Google to share.
This may include:
- your email address;
- your name;
- your profile image; and
- a provider-specific account identifier.
Nuveta does not receive your Google password.
Your use of Google services is also subject to Google’s own terms and privacy policies.
Application stores
Nuveta may be distributed through services such as:
- Google Play; and
- the Apple App Store.
Those providers may independently process information relating to application downloads, purchases, subscriptions, devices, accounts, or application usage according to their own privacy policies.
Information independently processed by an application store is governed by that provider’s privacy practices.
Hosting and infrastructure
Website hosting, networking, security, cloud infrastructure, and other technology providers may process limited technical information where necessary to operate and protect the Services.
Legal requirements
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- comply with applicable law or a legally valid request;
- respond to a court order or governmental request;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
- protect the security or integrity of the Services;
- investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or security incidents; or
- protect the rights, property, or safety of Nuveta, our users, or others.
Business transfers
If HinotoWay LLC or Nuveta is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Any such transfer will be subject to applicable law and appropriate privacy protections.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not provide personal information to third parties for their independent advertising purposes.
6. International Processing and Transfers
HinotoWay LLC is based in the United States.
Nuveta’s service providers, including Google, may process or store account information, authentication information, synchronized planner information, and technical information in the United States and other countries where they or their subprocessors operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.
Where required by applicable law, including for transfers of personal information from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we use or rely on legally recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
These may include:
- adequacy decisions;
- Standard Contractual Clauses;
- applicable data privacy frameworks; or
- other legally recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
7. Storage, Synchronization and Retention
Local planner information
Nuveta maintains planner information in a local application database on your device.
The local database is used for normal application operation and allows Nuveta to provide planner functionality without requiring a continuous network connection.
Local planner information generally remains on your device until it is:
- deleted through the application;
- removed by clearing application data;
- removed by deleting local application storage;
- removed when the application is uninstalled, depending on your device configuration; or
- otherwise deleted by you or your device operating system.
Cloud synchronization
Nuveta currently provides cloud synchronization through Google Cloud Firestore.
When you are signed in, Nuveta is designed to perform a full synchronization of your planner information approximately once every 24 hours.
This 24-hour period describes the intended synchronization interval and is not a guarantee that synchronization will occur at an exact time or within an exact period.
The timing of synchronization may vary depending on:
- whether and how the application is used;
- whether the device is online;
- device power or battery restrictions;
- operating system background-processing restrictions;
- availability of Firebase or Firestore;
- network availability;
- application errors or interruptions; or
- other technical circumstances outside Nuveta’s reasonable control.
If a scheduled or expected synchronization cannot be completed, synchronization may occur later when the necessary technical conditions are available.
The cloud copy therefore reflects the most recently completed synchronization and may not contain changes made locally after that synchronization.
For example, information created, changed, or deleted after the most recent successful synchronization may remain different from the cloud copy until a later successful synchronization.
Cloud retention
Synchronized planner information stored in Firestore is generally retained while your Nuveta account remains active and while it is necessary to provide the Services.
The cloud copy is associated with your Nuveta account or internal user identifier.
Deleted or modified planner information
If you modify or delete planner information locally, the cloud-stored copy may continue to contain the previous version until a later successful synchronization.
Once synchronization occurs, the synchronized state may be updated to reflect changes or deletions in accordance with Nuveta’s synchronization logic.
Because synchronization is periodic, local information and the Firestore copy may temporarily differ.
Device loss or application deletion
Deleting Nuveta from your device, clearing local application data, resetting the device, or losing access to the device may remove the local copy of your planner information.
Deleting the application or its local storage does not by itself necessarily delete information that has already been synchronized to Google Cloud Firestore.
Similarly, signing out of Nuveta does not itself delete your cloud-stored planner information or your Nuveta account.
Account deletion
If your Nuveta account is deleted, personal information associated with that account that is stored by Nuveta or service providers on our behalf, including synchronized planner information stored in Firestore, will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our account-deletion procedures and applicable law.
Certain limited information may be retained where necessary for:
- legal compliance;
- security;
- fraud or abuse prevention;
- dispute resolution;
- accounting or regulatory obligations; or
- enforcement of agreements and legal rights.
Information may also temporarily remain in backup, caching, disaster-recovery, security, or logging systems before being deleted or overwritten according to normal retention cycles.
Account information
Account and authentication information processed through Firebase Authentication is retained as necessary to maintain your account and provide authentication services.
If your account is deleted, account information will be deleted or anonymized as required by applicable law, subject to limited retention where necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or enforcement purposes.
Technical and support information
Technical logs, diagnostic information, security records, and communications with us are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or where retention is required by law.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized:
- access;
- disclosure;
- alteration;
- loss;
- misuse; or
- destruction.
These measures may include:
- encryption in transit;
- authentication controls;
- access controls;
- cloud security controls;
- authorization rules;
- secure infrastructure;
- logging and monitoring; and
- other security practices appropriate to the nature of the Services.
Authentication credentials should never be stored by Nuveta in plaintext.
Planner information transmitted between your device and Google Cloud Firestore is transmitted using secure network connections provided by the relevant platforms and infrastructure.
However, no electronic storage, device, network, database, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting access to:
- your device;
- your Nuveta account;
- your email account;
- your authentication credentials; and
- any third-party account used to sign in to Nuveta.
If you believe your Nuveta account has been accessed without authorization, contact us at:
9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you rights concerning personal information that we process about you.
These rights may include the right to:
- request access to your personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- request restriction of certain processing;
- object to certain processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain information in a portable, machine-readable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.
Planner information may exist both:
- locally on your device; and
- in Google Cloud Firestore after synchronization.
You can manage or delete planner information through the application where the relevant functionality is available.
Because synchronization is periodic, changes made locally may not immediately be reflected in the Firestore copy.
Deleting the Nuveta application or clearing local application storage does not by itself necessarily delete information already synchronized to Firestore.
Signing out also does not delete your account or synchronized planner information.
You may:
- disable notifications through your device settings;
- sign out of your Nuveta account;
- delete planner information through functionality provided by Nuveta;
- request deletion of your account; or
- stop using the Services.
To exercise privacy rights concerning information held by Nuveta or our service providers on our behalf, contact:
We may need to verify your identity before processing a privacy request.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights under applicable data-protection law, including rights of:
- access;
- rectification;
- erasure;
- restriction;
- objection;
- data portability; and
- withdrawal of consent where applicable.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority responsible for your jurisdiction.
California residents
Residents of California may have additional privacy rights under applicable California privacy laws, including rights relating to:
- access;
- correction;
- deletion; and
- non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
Nuveta does not sell personal information.
Nuveta does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
10. Children
Nuveta is not designed or directed specifically to children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required authorization.
Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for use of an online service by a person above age 13, the required consent must be obtained before that person uses the Services.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Nuveta without legally required parental or guardian authorization, contact us at:
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances where legally required authorization was not obtained, we will take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.
11. Current Infrastructure and Future Changes
Nuveta currently uses:
- Google Firebase Authentication for account authentication; and
- Google Cloud Firestore for cloud storage and synchronization of planner information.
Cloud synchronization is an active part of the Nuveta service.
When you are signed in, Nuveta is designed to perform a full synchronization of your planner information approximately once every 24 hours.
The 24-hour interval describes the intended synchronization design and does not constitute a guarantee that synchronization will occur at an exact time or within an exact period.
Actual synchronization timing may vary due to device conditions, application usage, internet connectivity, service availability, operating system restrictions, or other technical circumstances.
Nuveta’s technical infrastructure may change as the Services develop.
For example, Nuveta may in the future replace some or all Firebase services with authentication, synchronization, storage, or infrastructure operated directly by Nuveta or provided by another service provider.
Such changes may involve migrating:
- user accounts;
- internal user identifiers;
- authentication-related account information;
- synchronized planner information;
- synchronization metadata; and
- other information necessary to provide the Services.
Where a migration is necessary to continue providing the Services, information may be transferred to replacement infrastructure subject to applicable law and appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.
If Nuveta operates its own password-based authentication infrastructure in the future, passwords will not be stored in plaintext.
Authentication information will be protected using appropriate cryptographic password-hashing, authentication, and security practices.
If we materially change how personal information is collected, used, stored, synchronized, transferred, or otherwise processed, we will update this Privacy Policy.
Where required by applicable law, we will also provide additional notice concerning material changes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as:
- Nuveta develops;
- new functionality is introduced;
- technical infrastructure changes;
- service providers change; or
- legal requirements change.
When we update this Privacy Policy, we will publish the updated version and change the effective or “Last updated” date.
